Contemporary Palette Knife Landscape
Yesterday morning was a good day for painting
along Turtle Creek and catching the colors of
the day. The sky was changing quickly and the
light and shadows were constantly moving.
I used my trusty palette knife on this panel...
my goal was to nail the colors of the day and
get the lily pads in the painting. At first I was
very concerned that there was too much green
in the landscape, and also so many variations
of green. This painting is drying at the studio....

Beautifully done and thanks for rescuing me with a panel! Some day I'll get to a paintout site with "all" my stuff.
